Kelly Kaduce Gregory

Teacher: Voice

Ms. Kaduce has a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from St. Olaf College in Minnesota and Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Boston University. She was a 1999 Grand Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Competition, 2018 Boston University Distinguished Alumni Award winner, and a 2024 Grammy Nominee.

She has traveled around the world performing in top opera houses as a lead soprano for over 25 years. Ms. Kaduce grew up in rural Minnesota in a small town with a population of around 1,500. She came to know music through her mother, who was an accomplished pianist in the community. Her love of vocal music started with church choir, pop music, school choir and community theater. In high school she began to discover musical theater more in depth and had an introduction into classical music. It wasn’t until college that she took her very first voice lesson when the wide world of classical music and opera opened her mind to a whole other world that she fell in love with. Ms. Kaduce changed her major from Biology to Music and never looked back.

She invites you to just hop on the music train and see where it takes you! The more you learn about music and singing, you may find that your taste in music evolves and grows as well, like hers did.
