At CHSMA we are proud to offer students and families multiple special events throughout the year. Come celebrate and learn about different cultural celebrations, holidays, workshops, lectures, and more through music and activities.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Piano Summer Camp!
July 17-21 from 9:00 am-1:00 pm
Rising 5th-9th graders are invited to sign up for our Piano Summer Camp led by Panos Messis and Jenny Smith. This camp will provide piano students an opportunity to practice duets with other students, and delve deeper into subjects that students don’t always get to learn during regular private lessons. Including: music theory, practice methods, and improvisation.

Musical Theatre Sing-a-long!

Come one, come all! Bring yourself and your theatre-nerd friends to request songs and sing along. You will be able to live request songs while we have a good time celebrating our favorite show tunes. Let’s get together and sing – just for fun!
CHSMA Performs Disney
March 19th, 2023 – 2:30 & 4:30
Orange United Methodist Church
Our instrumental students will be playing short, recognizable Disney musical themes. The audience members will participate by guessing the tune, trivia-style. It will be great fun! Ask your teacher for more information if you are an instrumental student.
Pop Voice Master Class
January 29th, 2023
Join us for a masterclass where Ellie Lieder-Boulter will share her knowledge on pop-style singing and the logistics of being in a band in real life! She currently sings in a local band, and has had a lot of real-life experience singing and gigging.
Dia De Los Muertos
October 30th, 2022
We welcome students and families to come join us to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos.
This event will include many different activities for students to enjoy: crafts, themed face painting, make your own instruments, refreshments, and our own Dalia Razo will be leading two group music making sessions that are open to any kids, no experience necessary.
