Jenny Smith
Teacher: Piano
Jenny Smith is classically trained on the piano and has been playing since the age of 5. She studied under former National Symphony pianist, Maryen Herrett, and at Auburn University.
Jenny was a regular worship leader and pianist at her church in California for over 25 years, and currently leads worship regularly here in Chapel Hill. She owned a successful piano studio in Los Angeles before relocating to the Triangle and is excited to be teaching piano at CHSMA. Jenny is a homeschooling mom and a homeschool cooperative teacher and loves working with kids of all ages and abilities. Her greatest joy in teaching piano is nurturing a love for music and bringing out the best in each of her students.
