David has a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance from UNC Chapel Hill and has taught students of all ages since 2010. He enjoys playing classical and contemporary solo guitar works in addition to writing and performing in several local metal bands. He also performs in a guitar/cello duo alongside his wife for weddings and events. In addition to classical and metal guitar playing, David has experience with folk music, jazz improvisation, and arranging for the guitar.
David enjoys helping students develop technique and reading ability while building a repertoire that they are inspired to perform and share.
