Chris Adkins

Hillsborough native Christopher Adkins received is Doctorate in Music Performance from Florida State University in 2015. During his studies he was top prize winner in several international competitions. He also performed and gave masterclasses in North and Central America. He began playing the guitar in middle school.
Dr. Adkins has almost two decades of experience teaching many guitar related styles. He enjoys working with beginners and setting up a solid foundation of technique and basic theory on the guitar. By exploring each student’s personal tastes Dr. Adkins ensures a fun and easygoing guitar lessons.
Dr. Adkins is also an avid songwriter and has been writing music since graduating in 2015.
