Marianne Cheng is a vocalist, music educator, voice teacher, and music director with experience spanning performance, higher education, and community music-making. She has served on the faculty of Howard University, teaching voice, music theory, and ear training and serving as Musical Theatre Co-Coordinator. Her work as a music director and educator reflects a broad musical background across contemporary, theatrical, and ensemble styles. As a performer, Marianne has appeared in concert and theatrical settings in New York and Washington, D.C., including performing backing vocals for Patti LaBelle with The American Pops Orchestra’s United in Song on PBS.
