Ricardo James

Ricardo James holds a Bachelor of Music and Jazz Studies from North Carolina Central University. He has nearly 20 years of professional experience as a music educator, performer, and composer/arranger. Ricardo began his teaching career by providing in-home lessons to high schoolers. He then went on to found his own community-based music organization where he taught students in the classroom and community setting throughout the DC, MD, and VA region areas. Ricardo is a multi-instrumental player. He is most proficient in piano, bass, and trumpet. In his performance career, he has played alongside several renowned National artists and groups.
