Isabella enjoys a career as a teacher, scholar, and performer. She has worked with numerous companies including regional companies such as North Carolina Opera, Opera Wilmington, and Wilmington Symphony Orchestra. Her classical music performances of note include the alto soloist in Mozart’s Requiem, Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro, Grimgerde in Die Walküre, Die Hexe in Hänsel und Gretel, Mercedes in Carmen, and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni. Isabella was the inaugural scholarship recipient with Opera Wilmington which allowed her to travel to Vienna, Austria and perform under the baton of Erwin Ortner of the Arnold Schoenberg Chor as a soloist.
As a teacher, Isabella focuses on the individual goals of students while providing a foundation in healthy vocal technique regardless of genre. This is achieved through breath support, Italianate appoggio, and a supportive learning environment in which students can discover their true instrument’s sound and personal confidence. Isabella’s goals for each student are curated to their dreams and needs, be it wanting to pursue singing as a career or as a hobbyist. While Isabella is a classical singer by training, she can teach many different genres as well as students of all ages and backgrounds. Isabella can teach beginning piano as well as diction in the following languages: Italian, French, German, English, Spanish, Czech, Latin, Russian.
