Becca Clemens is a native of Chapel Hill, NC. She received a Master’s of Music in Bass Trombone Performance from Texas State University, and a Bachelor’s of Music with education licensure from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
As a graduate student she assisted with instruction of the Texas State undergraduate brass methods courses, trombone choir, and athletic bands. Her primary trombone instructors have been Mike Kris and Dr. Martin McCain, with additional instruction from Matt Guilford and Pierre Beaudry. Becca is an active freelance musician in the Triangle area, and plays with groups including the Durham Symphony Orchestra, PlayMakers Repertory Company, and the NCJRO.
