Elizabeth brings a wealth of vocal, choral, piano and organ experience to CHSMA along with training in Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University and work with the Arts in Education Department of the City Center Theater in NYC. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music with Honors from Texas Lutheran University, and her Masters of Church Music from Concordia University.
She has teaching certification in music from North Carolina and Texas, and has years of experience in private music teaching both in voice and in piano, working with students of all ages. Elizabeth has served as music director and organist at several churches during her career and is currently serving as Director of Music here in Chapel Hill at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Elizabeth loves to teach all styles of singing and especially enjoys working with musical theatre and contemporary vocalists. She is an enthusiastic and caring instructor and looks forward very much to joining our Voice Department.
